I need to write a contract for healthy living with my 15yr old son, can anyone help?

My son is overweight and spends too much time on the computer. He is active in school. I want to make a contract for him to attend a Healthy Kids workshop 2-3 times a week with rewards and consequences.

Answers:

1There is nothing wrong with writing it out as you want...when I was a licensed foster parent I had each incoming child sign a home done "Contract" of sorts regarding home expectations...after all they are only kids and complicated contracts will in a way go "over their head." So spell it out exactly as you wish with specific consequences for negative actions and specific rewards for positive actions and then talk it over with him, maybe there will be some room for compromise before the final copy is made up and signed. Good luck!
